This is a fascinating TED talk about fixed
mindset vs growth mindset. Fixed mindset assumes that mastery of a
skill/subject is related mostly to natural ability, while growth mindset
recognizes that ability can change with effort. This has
important implications for not only how we talk to and view our kids,
but about how we talk to and view ourselves. It’s only 10 minutes long,
but I hope it gets you thinking for much longer!
